Mobile Library

As Hinterland Projects and its Reading Room prepared to move to a new bespoke venue at One Thoresby Street, this tour of Mobile Library events between 2008- 9 took place in venues throughout Nottingham in collaboration with artist led organisations, artists publishing projects and local visual arts venues.

Sessions included discussing Utopian Networks and Mail Art at the Original Moot Gallery, Flann O’Brien’s ‘The Third Policeman’ at Hand and Heart Gallery, artistic activism and agnostic spaces at the Secular Hall in Leicester and Jorge Luis Borges’ ‘Library of Babel’ as part of ‘Fictions’ an exhibition curated by Hugh Dichmont and Fay Nicolson at The Bonington Gallery.
