Join the artist on or near the water for delicious food sourced from the local landscape. Your experience will include foraging, pickling, preserving and preparing food as you sail down the canals that intersect Nottingham’s periphery.

The Floating Kitchen is a two day event and involves an overnight stay at a mooring on the river Trent. The canal boat trip is available for a very limited audience.

Evening event with the Floating Kitchen 6-9pm Wed 23rd Sep 2009

Rebecca Beinart's Field Kitchen is taking to the waterways for an overnight research trip on a canal boat. The Floating Kitchen will collect foraged foods which grow beside the river and canal and invite you to an evening meal in Stoke Bardolph. Guests will take a free bus ride from The Reading Room at Thoresby Street Studios and join the boat at it's mooring spot, for a foraged feast by the Trent and a look around the boat. Sample experimental culinary delights cooked outside on a rocket stove. Further details are available on booking.

Booking is essential, as places are extremely limited.  Tel. 07914 504660 or email bookings@hinterlandprojects.com
